Tuesday 27-07m a lil’ time in front of me and to recapitulate the events of my little life since Sunday and for a little tumblring

- Sunday 25-07-2010 : I kept my promise no church. Noted this new euphemism in the US English: I bought Saturday the Houston Chronicle at something like 8 am, Sunday I bought the Houston Chronicle around lunch time: the content was nearly identical except for one or two articles on the front page. comparing the two, i observed that the newspaper I bought Saturday indicated on its front page “Early Sunday edition” which is a very nice concept! Like “second hand” disappeared and was replaced by the more politically and “markettably” correct “pre-owned” maybe Saturday will disappear and will be replaced by “Early Sunday”. Spent a good part of the day installing various sofware related to my new toys. In the evening, a delicious family dinner with crab and catfish and lot of beer and wine.

Monday 26-07-2010 : Playing a little bit on the Net in the morning. In the afternoon, visit to the Butterfly Garden in the Natural Science Museum in Houston to see Lois the mega super stinking flower which flourish every n years, in fact it was already half dead and didn’t stink anymore. I saw there a documentary on dolphins and similar in IMAX 3D: it was a first for me and it is really impressive, I had the impression I could touch the fishes! Total, I was like a kid the whole afternoon.

Tuesday 27-07-2010 : My Garmin Nuvi 1370T works like a charm but what a pain the ass to download or buy something from the Garmin site: one has to register and Garmin is really curious and unforgiven … and then when finally you arrive to something looking like a download page, it’s slooooooow! Preparing my luggage for my departure to Acapulco tomorrow: my plane is shamefully early 8am meaning waking up at 5 am
